§ To recognize physical therapists who have made an outstanding contribution to clinical practice. Any member may nominate another for consideration of this award.

§ Nominations must be submitted to the Nominating Committee Chair 2 (two) months prior to the VPTA Annual Chapter Conference.
§ The recipient will receive an engraved plaque and a $250 cash award, which will be presented at the VPTA Annual Chapter Conference.
§ To identify and honor one physical therapist or physical therapist assistant as an “emerging leader”, who has demonstrated exceptional service to the chapter at state or district levels early in his or her career.
§ The nominee must: 1. Be an active member of the VPTA for at least 3 years and no more than10 from formal graduation.
2. The nominee must have current or prior service in committees or appointed or elected positions at the district or state level.
§ Nominations must be submitted to the Nominating Committee Chair 2 (two) months prior to the VPTA Annual Chapter Conference.
§ The recipient will receive an engraved plaque, which will be presented at the VPTA Annual Chapter Conference.
§ To recognize those individuals who have demonstrated outstanding leadership in their service to the VPTA.
§ The nominee must:1. Be an active member of the VPTA and a district counterpart; 2. Have held elected office, committee chair, or workgroup chair at the State level for a minimum of two years; 3. Been active in either state committees/offices for a minimum of four years; and 4. Not be a member of the Nominating Committee.
§ Nominations must be submitted to the Nominating Committee Chair 2 (two) months prior to the VPTA Annual Chapter Conference.
§ The recipient will receive an engraved plaque and commemorative bottle of wine, both of which will be presented at the VPTA Annual Chapter Conference.
