What Exciting New Things Are Happening in the Practice Workgroup?

Led by the Research Subgroup, Practice will create a Hooked on Evidence study group to evaluate research articles on the use of exercise in osteoporosis for prevention and management.  Click on the link to find out how you can participate!

The district Continuing Education chairs, led by Lise LaPointe-Murer, will be improving communication among themselves and sharing speaker resources. Watch the webpage for a posting of upcoming continuing education courses around the state.

Following the lead of Sue Curfman, Blue Ridge District Research Chair, other district research chairs will begin providing annotated bibliographies to accompany guest speakers' lectures at the district level.

Rita Wong will be contributing articles to the Virginian on how to search the literature on the Internet, and how to use a literature search in a case study format.  Check the research page for more information about the work the Research subgroup has planned.
